We are the leader for the NHS locally. North Staffordshire is situated to the north of the West Midlands. Some of our areas are sparsely populated, while densely populated areas include Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek and Biddulph.
We are accountable for £352 million of public money. We are responsible for assessing needs, and then prioritising, planning, commissioning and performance managing local health services. We ensure health improvements and access to high quality, safe health services. Serving over 214,000 people, our role is to use our resources to achieve the maximum positive impact on the health and wellbeing of local people.
